Kira Lim is an undergraduate at Yong Siew Toh (YST) Conservatory of Music, specializing in Classical Voice with Professor Alan Bennett as her mentor. She graduated from LASALLE College of The Arts in 2019 with a Diploma in Performance (Theatre). In 2018, she achieved First Place in all categories of the American Protege Vocal Competition at Carnegie Hall under the guidance of Ms. Khor Ai Ming.
Kira has performed in notable singing roles, including Gretel in "Hansel and Gretel," soloist at Carnegie Hall for "Mass of The Children" and "New York Sounds of Summer," soloist at the Los Angeles International Music Festival, First Maiden in "Der Zwerg," Shimmer in "Baby Shark Live! The Hidden Treasure," and various solo performances with The Opera People, Red Dot Baroque, and New Opera Singapore. She also portrayed Luisa in "The Fantasticks" for YST's 20th anniversary.
Kira is dedicated to making the arts accessible and inclusive. In 2022, she collaborated with partner Claire Teo on an installation at the National Gallery Singapore, focusing on the visually impaired community. She also acted in "An Undefeated Mind," a fundraising theatre show raising awareness for dementia.
